Module Exemptions between the PLC and PLC Technician II Programs

Mon, 07/24/2017 - 14:04

The PLC Technician Certificate programs at GBCtechtraining, share a common core  of 7 modules. What does that mean for you? It means that there will be module exemptions and savings for you if you take both. Once you complete one PLC program, credit for exemptions will apply to the second PLC program; saving you close to $500 in tuition on your second credential. Completing both programs will give you a well-rounded education in PLC technologies in manufacturing. The PLC Technician I certificate provides a foundation in PLCs in manufacturing. PLC Technician II provides a more advanced study of PLCs using a tag-based addressing language. To have a deeper understanding of PLCs you should know both methods including, I/O addressing, traditional and tag-based addressing. This chart highlights the module exemptions available.
